What is Globalization?  

Globalization is the development by which industries, businesses or other organizations start working on an international measure. They develop international influence and is a process driven by trade. This process has its pro and cons including effects on:

• the political systems
• the environment  
• the well being of humans worldwide
• countries culture                                                                                                                                                                                                        Due to globalization some companies are no longer national but worldwide these or called transnational corporations.

Globalization - A Good or Bad Thing?

Globalization has many negative and positive impacts on our society in our world today. I believe that Globalization is overall making our society better more than worse. This is because Globalization has:

• resulted in increased worldwide trade
• has increased the production of goods and services  
• has allowed us to have greater dependence on our global economy                                                                                                                          Also it helps increase recognition of companies including Nike, McDonald's and Starbucks. It improves our transportation, communications and freedom of trade. Globalization also can help make people aware of global events and global issues such as climate change and deforestation. Therefore i think that although globalization does have some detriments to our society it is still better as the majority of impacts are having a positive effect on our world.
